Is payment the same as delivery success?

No. Payment confirms your fax submission and starts the delivery attempt. The final delivery result depends on the recipient’s fax line (busy, no answer, non-fax line, etc.).

What happens right after payment?

Your fax is queued and the transmission to the recipient’s fax line starts shortly after. This can take a few minutes, and in some cases longer depending on the destination network and the recipient’s line.

How do I check the delivery result?

After payment you’ll see a private status link. You can copy or bookmark it and check the final result anytime. Optionally, you can enter an email address to be notified if delivery fails or needs your attention.

When do I receive emails / receipts?

Emails are optional. Depending on what you select on the success/status page:

  • Submission receipt: confirms payment + that your fax submission was created/queued.
  • Delivery result email: sent when the final result is available (delivered or failed).

If Stripe provides a customer email, we prefill it for convenience — you can edit or clear it anytime.

Why can a fax delivery fail?

Most failures are caused by the recipient side or the destination network — not by your document. Common examples include a busy fax line, call dropped by the receiver, a voice line instead of a fax line, or temporary carrier routing issues.

If delivery fails, the status page explains the likely reason in plain language and usually a retry is the best next step (often after a few minutes).

Do I receive a guaranteed delivery confirmation?

No. Fax technology cannot guarantee that a person read the document. What we provide is the official fax transmission result from the recipient’s fax line (delivered/failed) — the same limitation applies to physical fax machines and all fax services worldwide.

From which number will my fax be sent?

All faxes are sent from our dedicated GoFaxNow line: +1-888-887-4346. This ensures consistent identification and reliable transmission.

Which file types and limits are supported?

We currently support PDF, JPG, and PNG files. The maximum file size is 10 MB, and a fax can contain up to 5 pages.

How much does it cost?

Sending a fax with GoFaxNow costs a flat fee of USD $0.99 per fax, regardless of the number of pages (up to the 5-page limit). There are no subscriptions or hidden charges.

What happens to my documents after sending?

All uploaded files are automatically deleted from our system:

  • Unpaid uploads are deleted after 30 minutes
  • Paid uploads (regardless of delivery result) are deleted after 2 hours

This ensures GDPR compliance and maximum privacy.

Do I need to create an account?

No. GoFaxNow works without registration. You upload, pay, and send — fast and hassle-free.

Can recipients reply to the GoFaxNow fax number?

No. The number +1-888-887-4346 is used for outgoing transmissions only. It is not technically possible to receive faxes or replies on this line. If a recipient tries to fax back, it will not be delivered.

For follow-ups, please contact the recipient directly or send a new fax.

What is the optional cover page?

You can add an optional cover page. It can include sender details or a short message before the main document. This is optional — your fax works without it.

Where can I send a fax with GoFaxNow?

You can send your fax to destinations worldwide, including:
